This product is a core bit specifically for drilling through brick and block. You are not supposed to use water to cool the bit, because the design of the core bit tube is to run dry. The slots cut into the side of the core drill bit keep air flowing through the core bit tube, which keeps the core bit cool.
These come with very high quality diamonds yielding a longer coring life per core drill bit. Not intended for use in concrete or asphalt.
9" Drill Depth and a 5/8"-11 thread count on the hub. Jacobs Chuck adapter available for hand held rotary drills 5/8"-11 thread to straight shank.
Custom bonds, extra core length and re-segmenting is not available on dry core bits.
